Math, Science, and the Humanities

Math, Science, and the Humanities are from Brooklyn, host a popular monthly variety show, and perform all around NYC, which is comedy code for “in whatever bar will have them.” They are also notorious liars and wrote this bio about themselves.

Math, Science, and the Humanities are Zach Kohn, Matt Laud, Martin Nolan, and Heather Potts. They have studied sketch and improv at New York’s Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre and performed in the Chicago Sketchfest as well as Skidmore’s National College Comedy Festival.

They met during their time in Boston University’s sketch group, Slow Children at Play, and had been writing and performing together for four years before moving to New York and forming Math, Science, and the Humanities. In their monthly Manhattan variety show they have hosted performers who write for Weekend Update and Late Night With Seth Meyers. They have performed at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre, the Parkside Lounge, the Creek and the Cave, and premiered videos at Red Hot Video Fun Time.
